COVID-19 Pandemic:
2 Years and counting
We have learned much in the last two years: Vaccinations, masks, shortages, supply chain issues, discord. It is important to follow the Prophet's admonitions to prepare ourselves spiritually, as well as temporally. Remember the story of Joseph in Genesis 41: 26-36: "And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine."
How many of us went to Costco to try to get toilet paper, or bleach, or Clorox Wipes...only to find out they were out!! The supply chain has failed, and goods are harder to come by, but at this time, the above are readily available. NOW IS THE TIME TO PREPARE!! Have you heeded the call of the Prophets over the years. Have you gotten food storage, have you stored water? What about medications? Do you have a 72-hour "bug out" backpack for each member of the family?
Please avail yourselves to the plenty we currently enjoy. Prepare yourselves. Do what you can to protect your-selves and your family. Get vaccinated if possible. Wear masks when appropriate. Cain asked: "Am I my brother's keeper?" There are those who are at risk. Please think of them. This is real. We have seen COVID deaths in our Stake.
